Tables

First Steps

It all starts with the wood. I go to the mill and pick out the perfect slab.

For live edge, debarking is essential.

Then it’s cutting it down to size, planing, and sanding until the wood is perfectly sized and flat.

Sealing

Wood really comes to life after it’s stained or sealed. Rubio Monocoat is a personal favorite as it brings out the natural color of the wood.

Before sealing the wood, and if requested, I add the resin and wait for it to cure. I do another pass of sanding and planing to make sure it’s flat and smooth.

Finished product

This is what makes it all worth it. The finished product.

After attaching the legs, I get the table into the hands of the customer.
